CMF Is Extending the Public Comment Deadline to July 28

The interim report, Recommendations for Improving the Democratic Dialogue, proposes a new model for constituent communications and includes recommendations for congressional offices, citizens, and advocacy groups. If implemented, these solutions could provide significant benefits for all stakeholders, but we need your input.

"Management 101" for Legislative Directors

On July 25, CMF hosted the first in a series of training programs developed specifically and exclusively for Legislative Directors to assist in their professional development. LDs learned more about: your role as a manager; how you can influence staff behavior and performance; ways to develop your staff; and the difference between leadership and management.
